Ginger Zee and Val Chmerkovskiy performed a fusion dance of an Argentine tango and foxtrot to Pink’s “Just Like Fire” during the “Dancing With The Stars” finale on Tuesday. Watch the video “DWTS” finale video below.
During part one of the finals on Monday, Zee did two dances that impressed the judges and audience alike. Her first performance, a jazz routine, was called “beautiful” by Len Goodman. Bruno Tonioli praised Zee and Chmerkovskiy’s redemption dance for essentially being a “greatest hits remastered.” And Carrie Ann Inaba similalry noted that she “really loved it.” For her first effort, the meteorologist got 28 out of 30 points.
Zee’s second routine, a freestyle dance, was pure perfection. Inaba felt the popularity of “Dancing With The Stars” is a result of the “kind of dancing” Zee exhibited. Meanwhile, noting how the weatherwoman suffered from back spasms prior to performing, Goodman exclaimed, “pain is temporary, glory lasts a lifetime.” And Tonioli simply stated he “adored” her and Chmerkovskiy’s number.
For Zee’s very last dance on Tuedsay’s “Dancing With The Stars,” Goodman said, “You’ve gotten better and better” and “are a fantastic dancer.” Ina felt she danced “beautifully.” And Tonioli added that she’s become a “true leading lady.”
Zee and Chmerkovskiy’s finale fusion dance received 27 out of 30 points. Check out the video below of Ginger Zee and Val Chmerkovskiy’s last dance routine during the “Dancing With The Stars” finale.”
