Paige VanZant and Mark Ballas performed a perfect fusion dance of a jive and salsa to Thurston Harris And The Sharps’ “Little Bitty Pretty One” during the “Dancing With The Stars” finale on Tuesday. Watch the video “DWTS” finale video below.
During the first part of the finals on Monday, VanZant did two routines that were virtually flawless. For her first dance, a salsa to Pitbull’s “Fireball,” the UFC champ received a near perfect score of 29 out 30 points, having been minorly penalized by Len Goodman for a tiny flaw. Still, he awarded her a 9, while Carrie Ann Inaba and Bruno Toniolo gave her 10s.
VanZant’s second dance was a freestyle to BC Jean’s “Over the Rainbow,” and it was nothing short of perfection. Goodman called it “fantastic,” while Inaba expressed how impressed she was by the way the UFC fighter had “grown” during the competition. And through tears, Tonioli praised the dance performance as a “triumph.” VanZant, of course received a perfect points.
For VanZant’s last dance, Goodman said, “You are the one to beat.” Ina told the UFC fighter, “You have delivered,” and “you have set the standard.” And Tonioli exclaimed, “You played me perfectly.”
VanZant and Ballas’s finale fusion dance earned them a total of 30 out of 30 points. Check out the video below of Paige VanZant and Mark Ballas’s last dance during the “Dancing With The Stars” finale.
